Decca's new film captures elements of her endurance performance piece as she walked from Chamonix to Zermatt in the summer of 2022. As we see her walking through the Alps, exploring themes of womanhood and isolation, she searches for something within these places, something to give her a sense of freedom - liberty in body and mind. There is an eeriness, a sense of foreboding within her work - desperation, and desire. Further work from this performance will be shown in the Royal Scottish Academy in March and April this year.
